Q: What is a URL address? Why do I need it to select a background for a custom poem?
A: An URL address is the address that appears on top of the address bar when you are searching for a website. (ex: www.google.com is your URL address to type in the top address box when you are searching for google.) When you find the background you would like for your custom poem, copy and paste that address into your custom poem detail form so we can use that for your order. If you cannot use an URL address, send us the picture by email but ,remember, it has to be 800x600 pixels for it to be a clear image for your poem background.

Q: Since we only have up to 5 details we can customize for a custom poem, can I change it up some? (For example, can I put in two names, one date and two events? Or something else?)
A: Yes, you can change it to what order you would prefer, but if you wish to do this, remember to enter these details into your order form special instructions on your PayPal order form so we can be sure to do so. If you do not, we will not be able to make any corrections, but will post the poem as you have entered in your custom poem detail form.
Q: What is the maximum poem line we can have for a custom poem?
A: The number of poem lines actually depends on the amount of details you wish to include on your custom poem and the text font, and background. If you select a background that has a lot of detail, then it will be very difficult to put a lot of length to your poem because your words will not show up as well.
However, a typical poem will range from 15-20 lines, give or take.
A: In order to purchase any products, all customers will be required to have or obtain a PayPal account to order. We process all payment transactions through PayPal because it is a secure ecommerce site that prevents from any risks of identity theft from occurring. If you do not currently have a PayPal account, you can register for free at www.paypal.com. In the case of gift certificates, you can use your personal information on the PayPal secure site our page takes you to without registering for an account.
A: The most obvious difference between the two poems is with a custom poem you get to decide what details are in your poem and you can personalize it. With a premade, you have to choose from already made poems from the author.However, with a custom poem, you are given up to 5 details you wish to personalize your poem (Names, special events, details, Dates, references, places, etc.)
You are also able to select your own background by either typing in the Url address of the background page in the Custom Poem Detail Form on the page of our Web Shoppe, or by emailing us the picture.
With a premade poem, you can browse our Premade Poem Gallery and select from which poem you would like.
A: Gifts From the Heart understands everyone can make simple mistakes. If you have made an error on some details in your Custom Poem order, we can correct the mistake without charge if notified within a period of 48 hours from the time the form was submitted. However, since we do mail out all orders within 72 buisness hours, we cannot make a correction if not notified before that time.If you do not notify G.F.T.H or until after the time required, we can send you a correct copy at an additional charge. No refunds accepted, only corrections.
A: We love suggestions! Go to our guest book so we can know what you are looking for and better accomodate your needs. We will judge all suggestions and if we feel it is within reason, we will add it to our website. You may also email us with your suggestion and if it does not have any customization and found reasonable, we should be able to make it for you in the time and order the request was recieved.
A: Although we do accept any donations, we do normally require a donation that is of a larger sum depending upon how long you would like your link to be advertised. Typically, all links are posted on our site for a span of 2 months.If you know how long you would like for us to post your link or any other advertising, please contact us at our Customer Service email address located on the "Contact Us" link in the right menu. We can then look over your request and determine any specifics.
